Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Upon arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a short walk around the city and experience the atmosphere of Mongolia’s capital.

After breakfast, we will drive to Terelj National Park, one of Mongolia’s most scenic destinations. Our first stop will be the impressive Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, where you can admire the enormous equestrian statue and enjoy panoramic views from the observation deck. We will then continue to Turtle Rock, a spectacular natural formation shaped like a giant turtle. Afterward, we will hike to the peaceful Aryabal Meditation Temple, nestled among the surrounding mountains.

After breakfast, we will travel to Bayan Gobi, a beautiful area where golden sand dunes meet the vast Mongolian steppe. Upon arrival, we will explore the dunes and enjoy a camel-riding experience, following traditional desert trails through the surrounding landscape. Guests can experience the unique contrast between the sandy desert and open grassland while enjoying the peaceful scenery. In the afternoon, take time to walk among the dunes, photograph the landscape, and relax in the tranquility of the Mongolian wilderness.

Today, we will continue our journey to the Orkhon Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Mongolia’s most important cultural landscapes.Upon arrival, we will enjoy a horse-riding experience through the beautiful steppe and along the Orkhon River, experiencing the traditional way of traveling across the Mongolian countryside.We will also visit a local yak-breeding family, where guests can learn about their nomadic lifestyle and see how traditional dairy products are made from yak milk.

After breakfast, we will travel to Tsetserleg, the capital of Arkhangai Province, surrounded by the beautiful Khangai Mountains. We will explore the town and visit the Zaya Gegeen Museum, a former Buddhist temple preserving important aspects of Mongolia’s religious and cultural heritage. In the afternoon, we will continue to Tsenkher Hot Springs. Upon arrival, relax in the outdoor hot spring pool and enjoy the naturally heated mineral water while taking in the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Today, we will explore Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire, founded by Chinggis Khaan in the 13th century. We will visit the Karakorum Museum to learn about the history of the ancient capital and the Mongol Empire. We will then explore Erdene Zuu Buddhist Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest surviving Buddhist monastery complexes.
Surrounded by 108 stupas, Erdene Zuu offers a fascinating insight into Mongolia’s Buddhist heritage and history.

After breakfast, we will begin our journey back to Ulaanbaatar. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes of the Mongolian steppe. Upon arrival in the capital, we will explore some of the city’s highlights, with time to visit Sukhbaatar Square and the State Department Store for souvenirs and local products. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Ulaanbaatar after your journey through Central Mongolia.

You will stay in a good 4-star hotel in Ulaanbaatar. An upgrade is possible on request!
During the excursion in the countryside, you will stay in a Tourist Ger camp, which is a kind of hotel that serves customers with a ger (yurt) instead of a hotel room and is always located at the best viewing spot. It is the most popular accommodation type for a countryside trip in Mongolia and consists of 30–40 yurts, a restaurant and facilities. Most visitors are happy to stay in a ger, which provides an authentic taste of Mongolian culture and adventure, their most enjoyable experience in Mongolia.
During your trip in Mongolia, you will be served mainly European dishes and sometimes authentic Mongolian foods. Lunch and dinner consist of 3–4 courses (soup and/or salad, main course, dessert) and bottled water.
If you require special meals due to religious or medical limitations, or vegetarian food, please inform us so that arrangements can be made in advance.
Car: A good car is an important part of your comfortable trip in Mongolia. There will be a good 4×4 car for this trip based on the number of people in your group.
Road: The asphalted roads are 40% and the unpaved roads are 60%.
During the trip, it takes approximately 2–6 hours of driving (80–280 km) from one destination to the next, depending on road and weather conditions on each driving day. This is not a nonstop drive! We can take frequent short stops along the road for photographs, toilets, stretching and meeting local nomads.

Hiking boots and sandals, waterproof jacket, raincoat, umbrella, sunglasses, hat, comfortable shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen and prescription medication (if required).
Gear: Camera, binoculars, flashlight and travel lamp. Some Tourist camps do not have 24-hour electricity. It is therefore recommended to bring your own travel lamp!
